Budding Ghanaian rising Youtube star who went viral a few years ago, and everyone thought she was going to be the next dancehall’s big thing in of the era, but she quickly faded into obscurity, and not much was heard from her after that.

Ernestina Afari, also known as Dhat Gyal. With her distinct voice and abrasive demeanor, she was able to capture anyone’s attention. She did covers and mashups of popular songs and was supposed to be signed by Zylofon media at one point.

Dhat Gyal was destined for great things, but she gradually faded from view, and that was the end of it. But it turned out that the poor girl was suffering through a lot, and she became depressed as a result of her lack of guidance in the chilly entertainment world.

Dhat Gyal was dug up from her hiding place by the wonderful people at Okay FM, who convinced her to tell her story. It’s a heartbreaking story, and she was in tears the entire time she was telling it.

After her mother was killed in a car accident when she was 15, she became connected with people who introduced her to smoking marijuana and other vices, which she eventually became addicted to. She met her manager, Jeremiah Adjei, on the street and he did everything he could to get her where she needed to go.

Someone who knew about her street escapades created posts to expose her lifestyle just as her videos were making her famous and the world was at her fingertips. She fell into a deep despair as a result of this, and she gradually shrank away from the spotlight. – SEE VIDEO
