Stonebwoy sincerely apologizes to Nigerians over comment supporting Shatta Wale that they don’t support Ghana as he runs into Davido
Stonebwoy, a Ghanaian reggae-dancehall performer, has apologized to Nigerians for his recent remark that Nigerians do not support Ghanaians.
Stonebwoy recently issued a statement in favor of Shatta Wale’s assertion that Nigerians do not reciprocate the love Ghanaians provide them.
“My brother Shatta Wale’s method may be incorrect, but the issue of our brother nation Nigeria failing to reciprocate the love and support it receives, notably from Ghana, is legitimate and demands critical attention,” he said.
“In the meantime, we must love our neighbors as we love ourselves,” says the proverb (not more than we love ourselves). This means Ghanaians at home and abroad must follow Nigeria’s lead in prioritizing a plan to invest in and encourage Ghanaian talent.”
In a new video, the singer who ran into Nigerian musician Davido in Ghana apologized to Nigerians and asked for their forgiveness.
He was having a conversation with Davido when the video was shot and he said, “Abeg oh, Naija abeg.”
