A former vice-chancellor of the University of Lagos, Professor Oye Ibidapo-Obe, has been declared dead. Professor Ibidapo-Obe was, until his death, the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Council of First Technical University, Ibadan. His death was confirmed in a statement on Sunday, January 3 by the registrar and secretary to the council of the university, Olayinka Balogun.

Meanwhile, Prophet Temitope Joshua, the founder of The Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), has released anointing water and a church sticker which he says will be used to fight coronavirus and other ailments ravaging the world.
The SCOAN founder said he was mandated to release the “faith tools”after a long period at the prayer mountain where he went to seek God’s face on the cure for the afflictions facing the world.
In a related development, US president-elect Joe Biden has appointed Nigerian-born Osaremen Okolo as one of his advisers on COVID-19.
Okolo was appointed on Thursday, December 31, as one of the members of the Biden-Harris COVID-19 response team. Well we’ve urged each and everyone to stay indoors due to the victim and hopefully things will get in the country of Nigeria.
