Zlatan Ibile (born Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael on December 19, 1994) is a Nigerian rapper and singer. He is the CEO and co-founder of Zanku Records. He won the Airtel-sponsored One Mic talent show in Abeokuta, Ogun State, in 2014.
Zlatan released a single titled “Zanku” near the end of 2018, along with a new dance routine of the same name. He released his debut studio album Zanku, an acronym for Zlatan Abeg No Kill Us, on November 3, 2019. In 2020, the artist stated that becoming a footballer, rather than a musician, was his dream.
Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael was born and reared in Ilorin, Kwara State, but had ancestors from Ijurin, Ekiti State. Moshood Abiola Polytechnic awarded him a national certificate in business administration in 2011. After finishing secondary school, Zlatan chose to pursue a career in music.
He won the Airtel-sponsored 2014 edition of the “One Mic Campus Tour” music competition when he was 19 years old, in Abeokuta, Ogun State. He rose to prominence in the Nigerian music business after releasing the Olamide-assisted single “My Body” in 2017. Lawrence Irabor, a co-owner of Alleluyah Boiz Entertainment, signed Zlatan to their record company A.B.E. record in 2018 after hearing the song Zlatan sung with Olamide.

Zlatan rose to prominence after collaborating on the 2018 smash tune “Able God” alongside Chinko Ekun and Lil Kesh. Soon after, he released “Zanku,” a song accompanied by a dance routine of the same name. Zlatan released the Davido-assisted tune “Osanle” at the close of 2018. He released “Glory” in early 2019 before being featured on Burna Boy’s “Killin Dem,” a tune on the latter’s fourth studio album African Giant. He was soon featured on Ceeza Milli’s “Flenjo” and Naira Marley’s “Am I a Yahoo Boy.” Zlatan revealed on July 26, 2019, that he has inked an endorsement contract with Coca-Cola.
Zlatan took to Instagram on January 1, 2020, to announce the start of his record company, ‘Zanku Records,’ with no artists revealed. He celebrated his birthday on February 25 while announcing the numbers and names of the performers he signed. He identified three artists: Papisnoop, Oberz, and Jamopyper, as well as the formal signing of a videographer/cinematographer named Visionary Pictures, his manager ‘Manager Jiggy,’ his music producer Rexxie, and a public relations consultant ‘Biesloaded.’ He made the news on Instagram with a photo of himself and seven other individuals.
The EFCC detained Zlatan and a few others in May 2019 in connection with an accused instance of online fraud and money laundering. He was freed on administrative bail a few days later.
During the EndSARS demonstration in October 2020, Zlatan released “Soro Soke” to voice his outrage over the killing of innocent youngsters at the Lekki toll gate.
