Ace rapper and record label boss, Olamide Adedeji aka Baddo has taken to his Instagram page to announce that he is set to drop a new album titled “UY Scuti“, fast of the heels of his 10th studio album Carpe Diem barely 8-months after it dropped.
Olamide announced that his 7th studio album titled UY Scuti will drop in a couple of months time, setting the release date for June 14, 2021. This new album is coming just 8-months after the release of the hugely successful Carpe Diem, which dropped October 8, 2021.
The YBNL boss seems to be back in shape and in-form to make some dope sounds, when UY Scuti drops in June it would be his third body of work in the last 16-months. Baddo didn’t release any body of work all through 2019, revealed during an interview that he released 999 in 2020 because he hadn’t released anything in 2019, due to ongoing work with his new star act, Fireboy.
‘Carpe Diem’ has since become a groundbreaking album that produced three hits; ‘Loading’ featuring Bad Boy Timz, ‘Infinity’ featuring Omah Lay and ‘Triumphant’ featuring Bella Shmurda.
