Charles Nii Armah Mensa Jnr known in the entertainment industry as  Shatta Wale is a Ghanaian born dancehall act, putting Ghana on the map due to his numerous hard-working skills.

Shatta Wale became known gain his super fame in 2015, where he started working to suit the level of his career. In that same year Shatta Wale had a collaboration with Nigerian super star Davido and they released a song entitled “The Guardian”which led him turn known world wide. According to record, 2015 is the year Shatta Wale has a wide rang of awards. The categories are as follows;

• In the Africa Europe DJ Award (Italy), Shatta’s melody Kakai won him the best tune of the year grant.

• In the 3G Awards, Shatta won the Publisher’s Choice Award.

• In the GN Bank Awards, he won the People’s Choice Male Musician Award.

• In the Ghana DJ Awards, Shatta’s Kakai earned him the DJ’s Song of the Year.

• In the Blogging and Social Media Awards, Shatta won the honor of being the Artiste with the best Social Media Presence.

• In the Golden Movie Awards Africa, Shatta won the Golden Discovery grant.

• He additionally brought home the Nigeria Entertainment Awards, the African Male Artiste of the year.

• In the Afrimma Awards Shatta won the dancehall artiste of the year.

• In the City People Entertainment Awards USA, Shatta won the Ghana Musician of the Year on the male’s class.

• On the Africa Entertainment Awards USA, Shatta won the Best Dancehall Artiste.

• In the International Reggae and world Music Award, Shatta’s Chop Kiss won him the Best African Song and Entertainer grant.

• On the Ghana Music Awards UK, Shatta won an honor for being the Music Producer of the year. His melody Kakai was additionally casted a ballot the Most Popular tune.
