Talk Is Really Cheap!! I’ll Also Sack Shatta Wale Like Kidi ― Romeo

Mid-morning show host at Accra 100.5FM, Nana Romeo has stated that he will sack ‘Kpuu Kpaa’ hitmaker, Shatta Wale if he should replicate Kidi’s unprofessional conduct.

Nana Romeo, on Thursday 14th May, sacked Lynx Entertainment Signee, Kidi from the studios for reporting at 11:25, for an interview which was scheduled for 11am.

An obviously disappointed Nana Romeo called Kidi out for being late, and for doing that constantly with Accra FM and called off the interview.

Kidi apologized for his action saying: “I apologize for this, I don’t mean to disrespect anybody. I don’t like the way I have been spoken to this morning but I apologize.”

The issue has generated elephantine controversy within the public domain. Self-acclaimed queen of comedy, TV and radio personality, Afia Schwarzenegger together with other celebrities like Edem, EL, and Lydia Forson have ordered the local media house (Accra FM) and Nana Romeo to apologize to Kidi for embarrassing him on their show.

But Speaking on the issue on Adom TV’s morning show,’Badwam’, Nana Romeo revealed that he doesn’t regret his action, thus, he would never relent sacking Shatta Wale if he should also replicate Kidi’s unprofessional conduct:

“I didn’t mean to disgrace Kidi but I just wanted to let my brother know that I value my show the same way he values himself…I don’t joke with my time and everyone close to me knows that, even if it was Shatta Wale the one being late for an interview with me, I’d have reacted the same way i did to Kidi,” Romeo Opined.

“Even when the interview was booked, I was sceptical about it because of previous experience with Kidi. What happened yesterday will teach Kidi to respect time and same with me. The show mean a lot to me; moreover, this is not the first time Kidi has done such a thing to me, I don’t play with my show and time,” he explained further.
